I arrived in Canada in February 2010 as a contract worker at Westwind Carwash, stepping into a new country with no relatives or friends. It was a tough journey, but I was determined to build a better future. For seven years, I worked diligently to secure my permanent residency, juggling two to three part-time jobs, including cleaning, to make ends meet.
In 2014, my wife joined me in Canada, and together, we started a mobile auto detailing business. Through hard work and perseverance, we eventually expanded and opened a physical shop with a business partner. However, financial constraints led me to take on additional work at Witron Warehouse, where I worked for four years while continuing to grow our business.
In 2021, we took a bold step and launched our own auto glass business. Like any entrepreneurial journey, it came with struggles, but with determination and resilience, we managed to overcome challenges and keep the business thriving.
Beyond entrepreneurship, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. Having experienced the hardships of starting from nothing, I understand the importance of support systems. This is why I dedicate my time to charity work for impoverished children, helping those in need, and advocating for local entrepreneurs to strengthen small businesses.
As the Board Chairman of the Family Care Foundation, I actively support initiatives that uplift individuals and families, ensuring that no one has to face challenges alone. I firmly believe that success is not just about personal achievements but also about making a positive impact on others. By supporting local businesses and community-driven initiatives, I strive to contribute to a stronger, more connected society where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Family Care Foundation was founded with a simple yet powerful vision—a world where every individual has the resources, opportunities, and support to thrive, free from the challenges of poverty. What began as a small initiative to provide basic necessities to struggling families has grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for long-term empowerment.
Recognizing the growing need for immediate assistance and long-term support in our community, a group of compassionate individuals came together with a shared commitment to make a difference. What started as distributing food and clothing quickly expanded into a broader mission—one that addresses the root causes of poverty through education, employment training, and community engagement.
"The journey of Family Care Foundation is deeply rooted in lived experience. Our founders, an immigrant who faced the challenges of starting over in a new country, understood the struggles of financial instability, social isolation, and limited access to opportunities. Determined to create change, they built an organization that not only provides immediate support but also empowers individuals to achieve long-term success. Today, Family Care Foundation continues to honor this mission by fostering a community of resilience, inclusion, and hope."
We believe that real change happens when communities come together. With the support of our dedicated team, volunteers, and partners, we are committed to expanding our reach, strengthening our programs, and advocating for policies that promote economic inclusion and social equity.
Family Care Foundation is more than an organization—it’s a movement of hope, resilience, and empowerment. Whether you are seeking support, looking to volunteer, or eager to contribute to our cause, we welcome you to join us on this journey of making a lasting difference.
Together, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

I was just 21 years old when I immigrated to Canada in June 2011. Coming to Canada was a dream and a promise of a brighter future, one that I could barely imagine back home. I arrived as a Temporary Foreign Worker at Tim Hortons, thanks to an opportunity provided by my employer, a close friend of my great-aunt. Moving to a new country as a young adult, away from my family, was incredibly challenging. Even though I lived with my great-aunt and her husband, I still felt the weight of isolation and culture shock. Learning a new language, adapting to different customs, and building friendships felt overwhelming. But despite these struggles, I was determined to adapt, grow, and find my place in this new world.
In 2015, I got married and started a family. My husband and I faced many hardships, especially during Canada’s economic recession. At the time, he could only find part-time work, and securing a full-time job was nearly impossible. When our son was diagnosed with speech delay and a learning disability, I made the decision to become a stay-at-home mother to provide him with the full attention and care he needed. During those difficult years, we experienced what it meant to have nothing—uncertain of where to turn for help or resources. I remember thinking, If I ever get the chance to help people who are struggling like we did, I will do my best—even in the smallest way. I learned to give, not because I have a lot, but because I understand what it feels like to have nothing.
In 2023, I took a significant step toward fulfilling my lifelong dream of serving others by enrolling in Human Services. I have always had a deep passion for supporting, advocating for, and uplifting people in need. Life can be incredibly challenging, and sometimes, all someone needs is a helping hand, a listening ear, or a guiding voice. As Board Secretary of Family Care Foundation, I am committed to helping individuals and families overcome struggles, find the support they need, and build a brighter future. I strongly believe that small acts of kindness create a ripple effect—when we change one person’s situation for the better, we empower them to uplift their families, which leads to generational transformation.
My passion for community service has led me to actively volunteer as a Peer Support Worker at the Women's Centre of Calgary, where I provide guidance, resources, and emotional support to women facing various challenges. Additionally, I have extended my efforts to disaster relief operations, offering assistance and mobilizing aid for victims of the Jasper Wildfire and Trochu Fire incident. These experiences have deepened my belief in the power of community-driven support and reinforced my commitment to helping those in crisis.
Adapting to a new country, culture, and language requires time, courage, and a positive attitude. Through my own journey, I have learned the power of empathy, cooperation, and resilience, and I am dedicated to supporting people—regardless of race, gender, or beliefs. I believe that even the smallest act of kindness can spark meaningful change. When we lift others up, we create a stronger, more compassionate community—and together, we can make a difference in the world.
